Email signup

A simple, flexible strip for collecting email addresses, with or without a background image. Add it above the footer, on a blog, or anywhere customers might want to hear from you.

Add the section

  1. In the theme editor, click Add section and choose Email signup.
  2. Edit the heading and text, or turn off Show image for a plain strip in your color scheme.
  3. Click Save.

The section comes with an Email signup form block, and you can add a heading, caption, text, buttons, images, icons, a stat counter, a discount code, spacers and custom Liquid.

After customers sign up

  • Each signup creates a customer in your Shopify admin, subscribed to email marketing.
  • Success page to redirect to: optional. Send new subscribers to a page, such as one with a welcome code.
  • Preview successful sign up: shows the thank-you message in the theme editor, so you can style it.

Settings

  • Background image, Image overlay opacity and Fix image on scroll.
  • Minimum height: the image’s height, a fixed shape, or custom heights for desktop and mobile.
  • Full width: on by default.
  • Text position, Show a container around text and Show text below image on mobile.
  • Hide this section when there’s no content to show: for content from metafields.
