The 5 best Shopify themes for supplements and wellness

Five themes for supplements, vitamins and health food, compared on how clearly they answer the shopper’s first question: what’s actually in this?

Peak
Peak preset of Ignite, set up for health & wellness

Quick answer

The best Shopify theme for supplements is Peak, the health and wellness preset of Ignite. It shows ingredients, nutrition facts, allergens and dietary icons clearly, lets shoppers save their dietary preferences, and has an age check built in. Also strong: Eurus (Arise) for supplement brands that want setup help, Wonder (Root) for conversion-focused DTC brands, Local (Thrive) for brands with physical shops and Pebble (Wellina) for single-product brands.

Disclosure: we make Peak. Everything we say about the other four comes from their own Theme Store listings, and all four are well-reviewed themes made with wellness brands in mind.

What a supplement store needs from a theme

Wellness shoppers read the label before they read the price. They want to know what’s in it, what isn’t and whether it suits the way they eat, and they want to trust the store that’s telling them. A good supplement theme makes those answers easy to find:

  1. Ingredients and nutrition facts that are easy to find. In a proper table, filled from your product data, not pasted into the description.
  2. Dietary filters. Vegan, gluten free, dairy free, keto. Shoppers filter by what they avoid as much as what they want.
  3. Trust on the product page. Allergen information, dietary icons and, for food products, ratings like Nutri-Score.
  4. An age check if you sell products with age restrictions.
  5. Reasons to reorder. Free shipping progress, promotions and subscriptions all bring shoppers back for the next tub.
  6. Room for the facts, not just the promises. Health claims are tightly regulated in many markets, so a theme that makes evidence and ingredients look good helps you sell without overclaiming.

Benchmark Themes

Peak is the health and wellness preset of Ignite. Its listing sums it up: highlight what matters, from ingredients and nutrition info to allergens and dietary icons.

  • My Preferences. Shoppers say what they like and what they avoid, and products that match are highlighted as they browse.
  • Nutrition and ingredient tables. The Table block shows up to 15 rows, each cell can pull from a product metafield, and empty rows are hidden, so one table works for every product.
  • Dietary icons and Nutri-Score. Vegan, gluten free and other icons sit on the product page, alongside an A to E Nutri-Score for food products.
  • An age verifier with your own wording, and a test mode for checking it before it goes live.

Because Peak is Ignite underneath, it also has product compare, which suits shoppers choosing between two protein powders, plus predictive search, promo tiles in the product grid, free shipping progress in the cart and pre-orders. Ignite holds a 100% positive rating from 113 reviews, with email support from real people in the UK.

How we chose

We started with the themes the Shopify Theme Store lists for wellness, read every listing and ranked the strongest on the six points above. Ingredient and nutrition display counted most, then dietary filtering, trust, reviews and price.

Prices, ratings and review counts change, so check the Theme Store before you buy. Every theme on this list can be tried on your store for free.

How to add a nutrition facts table to Shopify

A nutrition table filled from your product data stays accurate when recipes change, and it reads well for search engines and AI assistants too. In Peak it takes four steps.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Custom data > Products and create a metafield for each value, such as calories, protein and sugars.
  2. Fill in the metafields on each product.
  3. In the theme editor, add a Table block to Product information. It can show open on the page or as a collapsible row.
  4. Click the database icon next to each cell and choose the matching metafield.

Rows without a value are hidden automatically. The product page guide has the details. For everything else Peak does for wellness stores, see the best Shopify theme for health and wellness.

Questions

Which wellness theme suits which kind of brand?

Peak suits most supplement stores, with ingredients, nutrition facts, allergens and dietary preferences built in. Eurus (Arise) suits brands that want setup help, Wonder (Root) suits conversion-focused DTC brands, Local (Thrive) suits brands with physical shops and Pebble (Wellina) suits single-product brands.

How do I add nutrition facts to Shopify product pages?

Store each value in a product metafield, then show them in a table on the product page. In Ignite and Peak, the Table block holds up to 15 rows, each cell can pull from a metafield, and empty rows are hidden. Add a nutrition table.

Can shoppers filter supplements by diet, such as vegan or gluten free?

Yes. Store dietary attributes in metafields and add them as filters in Shopify’s free Search & Discovery app. Peak goes further with My Preferences, which saves what a shopper likes and avoids and highlights products that match. Set up My Preferences.

Do I need an app for age verification on Shopify?

Not with Peak, or any Ignite preset. The age verifier is built into the theme, with your own question and wording, and a test mode so you can check it before it goes live. Some other themes, such as Local, list age restriction popups too.

Which of these wellness themes is the cheapest?

Eurus, at $350. Ignite and Local cost $380, Wonder costs $390 and Pebble costs $400. Prices are one-time payments, checked on the Shopify Theme Store on November 3, 2026.

Can I sell subscriptions with these themes?

Subscriptions on Shopify come from a subscription app, and the theme shows its options on the product page. Wonder lists a subscription widget among its built-in features. Whichever theme you choose, try it with your subscription app before you publish.
